will be required through age 21. Persons age 16 and 17 may

ORDER OF COURT REQUIRED FOR PERSONS
UNDER THE AGE OF 16

A person less than 16 years of age may marry only if he or she

b) Such person has the consent required.

WITNESSES

There must be at least one additional witness other than the
person performing the ceremony.

PAST MARRIAGE RECORDS

Judith Vandever, the
Clark County Recorder, has recently computerized
historical marriage license information and put them on the
internet. You can now look it up online. If you prefer the old
fashioned way, write to 500 Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas,
Nevada 89155 (including self-addressed stamped envelope) and
request certified copies of certificates for marriages
performed in Clark County. Information needed: Names, year of
marriage, and recorder book number. The fee is $7 per copy. If
you do not know the year, an additional fee for searching is
$1 per year, per name.

IF YOU'VE BEEN DIVORCED

Your divorce must be final in the state where it was granted.
The date of the final decree and the city and state are
required.
